MANCHESTER, NH - Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) released the following statement after it was reported that President Trump would end National Guard deployments of members deployed to assist with COVID-19 response just days before they would qualify for post-9/11 GI Bill benefits.
In a letter to the Trump Administration, the delegation called for reforms to ensure that this critical small business lending program is better tailored to meet the needs of Granite State businesses.

Legislation would provide an estimated $1.5 billion to New Hampshire cities, towns and counties to sustain essential services, and $3.5 billion to the state government. It also includes nearly $30 million for planning, preparation, and resilience of state elections.
