Nearly 1,000 residents show up to US Rep. Chris Pappas town hall in Stratham on Saturday
MANCHESTER, N.H. —Nearly 1,000 residents from across the Granite State attended a town hall in Stratham on Saturday hosted by U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas.
At the event, Pappas fielded questions from community members related to some recent executive orders signed by President Donald Trump, Elon Musk's role in the administration and recent federal cuts.
"And so again, the courts can rule here if the [Trump] administration is not following the law, and we need them to do so," Pappas said. "We also need to continue to demonstrate the value of these programs, this funding, to our public health, to our future, and to our quality of life."
One person who attended the event was escorted out by police. News 9 reached out to the Stratham Police Department, who said they are not able to comment at this time.
