In response to President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14399 seeking to exert control over mail-in ballots ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01), co-chair of the Congressional Postal Caucus, led 99 members in calling on the Postmaster General to revoke a Postal Service rule codifying the order. In addition to that, Pappas joined a bipartisan coalition in filing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the United States in the matter of United States Postal Service, et al., v.
