New health care facility for women veterans to open in Manchester in 2025

April 25, 2024

VA Manchester Health Care is building a new health care facility for women veterans.

Veterans Affairs officials said the facility will include a wide range of services, including maternity care, gynecology and menopause care.

Officials said it will have a private waiting room, with space for kids to wait, as well.

“Women veterans, as has been mentioned, are the fastest-growing group of our nation’s veterans receiving VA care. VA is now serving more women veterans in its health care system than at any time in its history. So, that’s why this particular project is mission-critical for VA to provide the necessary care that women veterans deserve, those who have answered the call to service for our country, and why this facility here in Manchester couldn't be more important,” Rep. Chris Pappas said.

The new facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.
