Congressman Pappas supports effort to ensure Mueller report becomes public upon conclusion
Washington. D.C. - Today Congressman Chris Pappas joined a bipartisan majority in the House to pass a resolution that would express the sense of Congress that the Mueller report should be made available to the public and Congress upon its conclusion.
"Today I voted in favor of a resolution saying the Mueller report should become public upon its completion.” said Congressman Pappas. "The American people deserve to know the findings of his team’s investigation and assess the facts and evidence for themselves. After nearly two years of work that has resulted in guilty pleas and criminal convictions, the Mueller investigation has proven to be a serious, fact-driven endeavor. Allowing the final report to become public is an important step toward restoring faith in our democracy and its institutions."
