Pappas Joins Bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus

March 8, 2023

Today, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) announced that he has joined the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus for the 118th Congress. This group of legislators, equally split between Republicans and Democrats, is dedicated to finding common ground and working to bridge the partisan divide in Washington. Pappas was also a member of the Caucus during the 117th Congress.

“In a deeply divided Washington, it could not be more important to put aside politics and work across the aisle to get things done for the people of New Hampshire,” said Congressman Pappas. “I’m proud to be rated as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress, and as a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, I will continue to work in a bipartisan fashion to provide solutions for our families, veterans, and small businesses. Granite Staters are looking to leaders in Washington to put aside politics and put people first, and that’s exactly what I intend to do this Congress.”

Pappas is among the most bipartisan members of Congress and has worked in a bipartisan fashion to address the critical issues facing Granite Staters, including lowering the cost of prescription drugs, investing in infrastructure, and supporting New Hampshire veterans.

Last Congress, Pappas partnered with over 70 Republicans on legislation he introduced in his second term in Congress and co-sponsored more than 77 bills led by Republicans. In just the first few months of the 118th Congress, Pappas has already introduced several pieces of legislation with Republicans, including bills to support small businessesbolster northeast energy reserves, and cut out waste from the federal budget.

Last night, the House passed his bipartisan bill to expand VA emergency care with a unanimous vote.
