Pappas Statement on Censure Vote

Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) released the following statement after his vote on a resolution to censure Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib:

“There is no place in Congress for bigotry or antisemitism in any form, and I have spoken out forcefully against those who use this dangerous rhetoric, including members of my own party. I condemn Rep. Tlaib’s antisemitic statements in the strongest terms and remain committed to standing with the people of Israel. The resolution before us is rife with inaccuracies and fails to meet the high bar needed for censure. It’s time for Congress to stop playing politics and get to work to put the needs of everyday Granite Staters front and center.”
