Pappas Urges Congress to Stop Playing Political Games, Focus on Affordability

Today, Congressman Pappas (NH-01) released the following statement after his voteon H.Res 878:

“I condemn the way Chuy Garcia’s retirement from Congress was engineered to prevent other candidates from being able to seek public office and for voters to have a real choice at the ballot box. It’s also bullshit that Congress is burning more time on matters like this than focusing on protecting health care access and the other urgent problems my constituents face. I was sent here to get things done for New Hampshire, and it’s time to get bills to the floor that will help make life better and more affordable.”
