Rep. Chris Pappas’s Labor Day 2020 Statement

MANCHESTER, NH - Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) released the following statement to mark Labor Day 2020:

"We reserve the first Monday in September to honor the American worker and all they have done to build this country, create the middle class, and secure safe workplaces, better wages, and good benefits," said Congressman Chris Pappas. "Our working families have been hit incredibly hard during this pandemic. Nevertheless, our nurses, hospital workers, grocery store clerks, first responders, and other essential personnel have kept us safe and provided critical services. Now is not the time to turn our backs on the American workers, many of whom are putting themselves at risk to get the job done. I will keep fighting for relief to ensure our families, communities, and economy can weather the storm and come back stronger than ever."
