Rep. Pappas Wishes Granite Staters a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving
Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) shared the following message with Granite Staters ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday:
"This has been a tough year for our country and families across New Hampshire, and I want to express my gratitude this Thanksgiving for the resilience and compassion Granite Staters have shown day after day," said Congressman Pappas. "New Hampshire families have been through so much this year—a global pandemic that has sickened thousands of our friends, neighbors, and family members and claimed the lives of more than 500 people; an economic recession that has left tens of thousands out of work; and a sense of uncertainty about what our future holds. Through it all, we've seen the best of the New Hampshire spirit shine through. From the nurses in Manchester who made PPE for their colleagues after a long shift, to the neighbors in Bedford who got together to sew masks, to the elementary school student in the Seacoast who launched a fundraiser to feed hungry families in their community, our state is pulling together to get through this. We may be socially distant and apart from our loved ones this Thanksgiving, but the fact is we are bound together as strongly as ever. And in terms of the road ahead, there is no challenge we can't overcome if we look out for one another and work together with common purpose and resolve. I wish a very happy and safe Thanksgiving to all Granite Staters."
