Open enrollment for 2026 coverage is from November 1st, 2025, to January 15th, 2026

Who should enroll?

  • Those who do not have job-based health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or another program qualify for individual coverage. Learn who’s eligible at HealthCare.Gov.

How can I choose the plan that is best for me?

  • Learning more can help you navigate insurance coverage so that you can make the choice most tailored to your individual needs. At HealthCare.Gov, there are resources available to learn more about the kinds of plans available, your eligibility for ACA enhanced premium tax credits and/or cost-sharing reductions, and what ACA plans cover.
  • Assistance is also available through New Hampshire’s health care Navigators and local Assisters. Even if you wish to renew your current plan, a Navigator or Assister can help ensure you receive all available cost-saving subsidies.

How can I enroll?

  • The Health Insurance Marketplace provides different insurance options based on your income and state of residence. You can enroll, renew, or change your coverage at HealthCare.Gov/Get-Coverage or by phone at 1-800-318-2596.
  • Enrollment assistance is also available through New Hampshire’s health care Navigators and local Assisters.

What information will I need to submit?

  • Before you apply for insurance, it is important to learn what information you will need to provide. This includes:
    • Personal identification information such as your name, date of birth, address, and Social Security number
    • Household income estimates and information about your spouse, children, or dependents
    • Tax filing information
    • Employer information
    • Additional information may be required depending on your eligibility for savings, your current health coverage, immigration status, and more
