Tonight, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) voted to pass bipartisan legislation to provide additional COVID-19 relief to Americans and fund critical government services and programs, including many New Hampshire priorities that he has strongly championed.

MANCHESTER, NH - Today, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01), a member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs and chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, applauded the news that the VA Medical Center in Manchester is now one of 128 additional sites at which the Department of Veterans Affairs will provide COVID-19 vaccines.

Today, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced a new report from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform entitled, "The Urgent Need for Climate Action: Health Benefits for the State of New Hampshire if the United States Meets the Goals of the Paris Agreement."

The provisions included work to improve the quality of care at the VA and address inefficiencies that have hindered veterans' care

Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-CA), Chair of the House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Health, and Congressman Chris Pappas (D-NH), Chair of the House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation, along with 31 of their colleagues, urged the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to take immediate action to continue deferring the collection of veterans' debt.

"As American COVID-19 deaths reach 300,000 and infections and hospitalizations surge, it is essential for Congress to take action and provide the relief that Granite Staters and people across this country need," said Congressman Chris Pappas. Hosted by the U.S. House of Representatives, this competition highlights the importance of STEM education and encourages middle and high school students to explore coding and design in creative ways.

This week Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) continued to fight for New Hampshire's small businesses by co-sponsoring legislation and calling on House leadership to restore the tax deductibility of forgiven Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans for small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
