On Tuesday, November 7, Congressman Chris Pappas (NH-01) joined a statement on the phrase “from the river to the sea” and the ongoing Hamas-Israel War.
The text of the statement reads:
Today the New Hampshire Congressional delegation sent a letter to Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall and Chief of the National Guard Bureau General Daniel Hokanson regarding the recent temporary halt of operations at Pease Air National Guard Base (ANGB) and Pease International Airport. The halt in operations was due to mechanical breakdowns of the NH Air National Guard’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting trucks required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Last spring, Congressman Chris Pappas filed legislation to change the Internal Revenue Service’s tax code in regard to state-issued PFAS remediation rebates. Now he’s working another avenue: asking the IRS to fix the issue itself.
